It’s All in the Cards
by Sharon Jeffers
The beautiful island of Kauai is a land filled with mystical enchantment,
ancient ritual, sacred monuments and tales of magic that stem from its very
beginning. An island of constant renewal, people come from around the world
to bask in her beauty, learn from her people, and explore her secrets and
mysteries. Kauai is a place where the ancient past stands facing an unknown
future, where time seems to stand still. Anahola, the small local town on
the northeast shore of Kauai, means just that. It is “the land that
time forgot.” Kauai seems to be one of creation’s sacred chambers
held outside of time. When you pay attention, you can feel it. Along with
the ancient spirits of the island and newcomers from around the world, there
is another mystery that chooses to make its home here. This resident is an
ancient oracle. One who many believe is the oldest oracle known to humanity.
Known as the Mystic Science of the Cards, this ancient body of wisdom was
held in secret for thousands of years, guarded because of its power to predict,
and the influence that might have.
This age old scientific system of divination is based on our regular deck
of playing cards. Many believe that the deck of Cards was man’s first
calendar. The following similarities make those beliefs easy to understand:
There are 52 Cards in the deck and fifty-two weeks in a year, 4 Suits and
four seasons, 12 Court Cards and twelve months, 13 Cards in a Suit and thirteen
Lunar cycles each year; 7 - 52 day Planetary Periods and seven days in a week.
These are just a few of the seemingly endless patterns that exist in this
scientific system of divination. According to noted teachers of the Oracle,

Hidden within the magic filled numbers Hidden within the magic filled numbers and sacred symbols of Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds, and Spades are keys to man’s origin and destiny. Each calendar day is associated with a specific Card of the deck. Some Cards have only one day of the year that they are associated with, others have as many as twelve. All of this correlation is derived from precise mathematical calculation. In days of old, the playing Cards were used for time keeping and prediction. There were even times in history where the deck of Cards was used to determine military strategies. Our deck of playing Cards has a very interesting history. And, each of us, according to our birthday, has a Birthday Card. This is true for places as well. For instance when, Hawaii joined the Union as a State on August 21, 1959 it left behind its life as a sovereign nation and was birthed into statehood. That birth date is associated with the Five of Clubs. The Five of Clubs is known as the Card of The Adventurer. The energies associated with this Card are those of change, transformation, exploration, adventure, versatility, adaptability, hidden secrets, and ongoing changes in perception and thought. Looking at the State of Hawaii, we see that it has gone through numerous changes since becoming our fiftieth state. It is a place of adventure, exploration, and discovery. Hawaii opens its arms to all those who want to come and try something new. There seems to be an element of risk that exists within the choices that are made here. The Five of Clubs has an innocence that invites the unknown into its life. Hawaii holds many hidden secrets and mysteries. Many who come here are tempted to explore the hidden valleys and mysterious parts of the islands that are “kapu” or forbidden. As a state, Hawaii, like the Five of Clubs, is young. And it will undergo constant change, unrest, and new beginnings, for as long as it remains under the influence of the Five of Clubs birthday.
What can change that? If the Hawaiian movement for sovereignty were to succeed then the date associated with that birth will designate a new Card and Life Path for Hawaii. The Mystic Science of the Cards of the Magi is also used for divination. Many people on the island of Kauai offer this service to guests and residents alike. Readings with the Oracle are profoundly accurate and can be used as a guide for making important decisions both personally and professionally. The mathematically calculated charts of life and time cycles reveal specific influences that are present for us to take advantage of. It’s simple, friendly, and amazingly accurate. The Oracle is also extremely beneficial for understanding personality and compatibility. Below you will find information on how to link up with the Oracle in a more personal way if you choose. So now, there is only one question left: what is your card? To discover the answer to this question, visit LINK FOR FINDING B’DAY and look up your birthday.
