"Cards of Destiny" is a tool of empowerment that offers many gifts -

I am so very happy to see that Jeffers comes to the field of divination with humbleness and respect. Because of that, she sees very deeply into what the ancients wish us to experience, and can safely take her readers there. This is a book of heart, and a book of soul. It reflects great amounts of time spent studying, and an innate sense of where that study was to lead. Astrology and numerology play their parts in this work, along with a deep seated sense of self. What is offered here is astounding in its magnitude.
I found this to be and easy book to follow, and that it offered insights into myself, and my choices. It is a wonderful gift for yourself, and a wonderful gift to give to others. You not only gain an understanding of yourself, but with a little patience you can come to a greater understanding of those around you. And ... it is great fun!

What's In A Deck Of Cards?, April 4, 2006

This beautiful book is like classic art. Really! It has color illustrations from four decks! Whether you know nothing about the 'Science of the Cards' or have been a student for a while, you will enjoy looking at them & soaring with the inspiration of the scenes with the pips (Ace thru 10) worked into them. The author has included an excellent basic introduction to the main components of the System. No information overload, yet enough to whet the appetite for MORE. It will be useful to the widest span of audience. A great 'coffee table' or conversation piece to get people interested. Buy a copy for your local library. Give it as a gift to a family member or friend who 'plays' cards. And don't forget to bookmark the author's website in your Favorites list!

The Best Introductory Book for the Oracle of 52 Cards, May 8, 2006

I'm thrilled to be able to point my students and clients to Sharon Jeffers' Cards of Destiny. The Birth Card delineations are insightful, spot-on accurate, and focused on the positive (aware), while offering tactful, helpful guidance for any negative (unconscious) tendencies. There is a section on how each Card tends to approach relationships, and on how children may express their Card, with guidance for parents. The suits and numbers are outlined. This is the best introductory book. It's on my coffee table and I pick it up often.

It feels to me that there is something Very Big about the publication of this "little" book. The Oracle is being revealed here in a simple, beautiful way and I think many more people will begin to use this system as a tool. We can see ourselves so easily in these pages, leading to self-awareness; and as we read about our friends and family, we can honor our differences.

This is a stunningly-beautiful hardback book, illustrated with images from lovely eighteenth-century card decks. Anyone interested in the Cards will enjoy and learn from this book.
